With over 20 years of experience as a full-time translator, Katrin can help you bridge the gap between cultures and languages by providing professional translation services from English into Swedish, and limited services from Swedish into English.
Katrin attended Media and Communication studies at the School of Education and Communication at Jönköping University in Sweden and later earned a degree in Communication from the University of South Florida in the USA. Before becoming a full-time translator, Katrin worked in the area of tourism in both Sweden and the US.
To ensure that her translations stay true to the original text without sacrificing fluency and readability, Katrin relies on her deep cultural knowledge of both Sweden and the US. She stays up-to-date with current events in Sweden by following Swedish media, having daily conversations with friends and family back in Sweden, and visiting Sweden as often as possible.
Katrin is a Certified Pro with ProZ, a leading organization in the translation industry, and is also a voting member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and its Nordic Division. If you require a certified or authorized translation, Katrin can provide a certification for your translation that is accepted for immigration or legal purposes.
